WHO SHE IS
Built on ice
Blake grew up around Cleveland, moving often with her single mom, and hockey was the one thing that stayed put. She was often the only girl on the team and rarely saw a player who looked like her. She kept showing up, and it took her to back-to-back U18 world titles with Team USA and the being captain at Boston College.
Broke down the door
Blake won the Clarkson Cup in the spring of 2015, became the first Black player in NWHL history that fall, and lifted the inaugural Isobel Cup the next spring. In 2020 she became the NHL's first Black woman pro scout with the LA Kings. Today she builds free programs that bring girls and Black and Brown youth into the game, so fewer of them end up as the only one on the team.

Brand Partnerships
Blake partners with brands across hockey, youth sports, wellness, and women's leadership. That includes equipment and apparel collaborations, national campaigns, and Black History Month and International Women's Day work. Each partnership is built around her record as a player, executive, and broadcaster, and around the communities she already serves.
Broadcast, Hosting, & Production
Blake is a reporter, analyst, and host for the NHL on ESPN and for Amazon Prime, with a regular spot on The Point and college hockey coverage since 2025. She has also worked as an analyst for NHL Network, NBC Sports, and Sportsnet. Off air, she is producing and starring in a documentary about Laila Edwards, the Ohio-born Olympic gold medalist following her path.
Speaking, Mentorship, & Community
Blake speaks to schools, teams, and companies about facing adversity and turning it into a tool, getting comfortable being uncomfortable, and trusting the process. She adjusts the talk to the room, from a full auditorium to a lunch table of kids. She also runs the Blake Bolden Mentorship Program for girls across the country and built the LA Kings' We Are All Kings programs, including Bolden Girls and Black, Silver & Bold.
